Healthcare professionals manage numerous responsibilities every day. In addition to diagnosing and treating patients, they must maintain medical records, review test results, coordinate care, communicate with patients, and complete administrative tasks. As these responsibilities increase, medical tools are playing an important role in helping healthcare professionals work more efficiently. According to the ONC (Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology), the adoption of health information technology — including electronic health records, clinical decision support, and patient engagement tools — is associated with improved care coordination, reduced administrative burden, and better patient outcomes when implemented with appropriate oversight and workflow integration.
