MedicalResearch.com: What is the background for this study? What are the main findings?
Response: We try to resolve the challenge of Logging-in and logging-out tedious routine. We find it is possible to remotely “listen” to the heartbeat and recognize the user’s identity by using a novel doppler radar sensor.
MedicalResearch.com: What should clinicians and patients take away from your report?
Response: They don’t need to worry about “forget to log out the computer when stepping away from the desk, which leads to personal privacy leak”.
MedicalResearch.com: What recommendations do you have for future research as a result of this study?
Response: We would like to apply it in different applications, such as airport screening, car driver identification, etc, by taking advantage of this new distance biometrics.
MedicalResearch.com: Is there anything else you would like to add?
Response: Our team plans to reduce the form factor of Heart Scan and make it possible to integrate with smartphones.
