Response: This is a simple, rapid, non-invasive test for early recognition of preeclampsia. 

MedicalResearch.com: What should readers take away from your report?

Response: Aid in timely diagnosis to help provide closer observations to pregnancies with complicated by preeclampsia, to prevent the devastating adverse pregnancies outcomes for mom’s and babies that can occur when pregnancies become complicated by preeclampsia.

MedicalResearch.com: What recommendations do you have for future research as a result of this work?

Response: Decrease unnecessary hospital admissions, interventions, and help with certainty of preeclampsia in cases where it is challenging for provider to diagnosis preeclampsia 

MedicalResearch.com: Is there anything else you would like to add?

Response: An at-home test can empower women to be active participant in their prenatal care, earlier recognition of disease, ability to escalate to a higher level of care if needed.

MedicalResearch.com: Do you foresee any barriers to FDA approval?

Response: No, a multicenter trial is currently ongoing with expected completion within next 2 years.
